Callie Price, LCSW

Helping Children, Teens, and Families Find Confidence, Connection, and Hope

When a child is struggling, it affects the entire family. Whether your child is experiencing anxiety, behavioral challenges, emotional ups and downs, or difficulty adjusting to life's changes, seeking support can be an important first step. Callie is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where children, adolescents, and families feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.

Callie earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Appalachian State University and her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and families in school, community, and outpatient settings, supporting clients through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and family challenges. Her background has given her a strong understanding of child development and the importance of partnering with parents to foster lasting, meaningful change.

Callie's therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. She believes every child has unique strengths and that therapy should build upon those strengths while helping children develop confidence, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills. She works closely with parents and caregivers, recognizing that positive change happens when families work together toward shared goals.

She incorporates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and developmentally appropriate interventions that are tailored to each child's individual needs, personality, and stage of development.

Callie works with children, adolescents, and families experiencing:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry

  • Depression and mood concerns

  • Emotional and behavioral regulation challenges

  • School-related stress and adjustment difficulties

  • Family conflict and parenting concerns

  • Life transitions and adjustment

  • Self-esteem and confidence building

  • Social and peer relationship challenges

  • Stress related to academics, extracurricular activities, and athletics

Callie believes therapy is about helping children and families recognize their strengths while learning practical skills that support emotional well-being and healthy relationships. Her goal is to help every child feel more confident, resilient, and equipped to navigate life's challenges while supporting parents every step of the way.
