Francine Rodgers, MSW

Supervisee in Social Work

Francine earned her Masters of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington. She has over twelve years working with individuals of all ages from diverse backgrounds. Francine also recently became a trauma informed Certified Yoga Teacher through Tula Yoga and Healing Arts. She understands that part of healing is learning how to find safety and balance among our mind, body, and spirit.

She believes in a collaborative approach and in meeting the individual where they are. Utilizing a holistic perspective, Francine incorporates mindfulness-based interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered theories. Francine has also completed trainings in cognitive processing theory, which focuses on healing from traumatic experiences. She thoroughly works with each client to tailor services specific to their needs. She firmly believes every individual, couple and family, has the capacity to overcome hurdles and find more peace in their daily living.
