Barbara believes healing begins with feeling genuinely heard, understood, and supported. She is committed to providing a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where adults can safely explore life's challenges, gain insight, and develop meaningful strategies for lasting change.
Barbara earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Liberty University and has extensive experience working with adults in private practice, community mental health, acute psychiatric care, and faith-based settings. Her diverse clinical background allows her to tailor treatment to each individual's unique experiences, goals, and strengths.
Barbara's approach to therapy is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. For clients who desire it, she thoughtfully integrates Christian faith and biblical principles into the therapeutic process while honoring each person's individual beliefs and values.
