John Cook 

Resident in Counseling

John has spent more than 25 years in fulltime ministry serving as a pastor in two different churches in Stafford, VA. His education is in theology with a Bachelor of Ministry from Harding University, a MA in Pastoral Counseling: Marriage and Family, and a MA in Clinical Mental Health, both from Liberty University.  He seeks to use his calming demeanor and personability to partner with clients toward wholeness, growth, and personal development. He is committed to using an integrated approach of evidence- based counseling with an emphasis on person-centered and CBT approaches.

He and his wife have been married for more than 35 years and have four adult children. They both love the beach and believe that coffee is its own food group.  John continues to be an adamant sports fan and has coach baseball at the high school level for 18 years in Stafford County.
